After reading this story I was just absolutely speechless… and as I was reading it I couldn’t hold back the tears like I usually would. It was just so touching and extremely sad!!
I imagined my grandmother being in this old lady’s position… which she was when she left our house and was admitted to the hospice. It just brought me back and had me realize that the moment my grandma entered that building it would be her last. And then I saw myself years from now maybe doing the same thing… and in hopes that if or when I do I would be happy with the decision I made in life.. no regrets no nothing. Knowing that I took the chances that was in front of me… knowing that I tried my hardest to go after what I want… and while money makes the world go round it’s never been something I revolved my world around and although I should… I don’t regret that I haven’t. Yes it limits me from doing some of the things that I want… but how I see is that what’s most valuable to me money can’t buy! I don’t regret anything.. and everything I’m going through now will make me more proud of myself when I take my last steps in this world… and that’s all that matters.
After reading this… I’m happy to be living the life that I want and have the dreams that I have!
